This group of paintings is the result of a search begun this past year for new imagery. If there is a hint of exoticism it is a natural outcome from travels these past few months to Kenya, Tanzania, Zanzibar and Argentina.

Only by relating to a spiritual realm can we transcend our physical reality. This process often creates an uncertain atmosphere. It is here in this psychological space I am attempting to uncover something universal.
